Award winning British lyric soprano Nadine Benjamin is a dynamic and versatile artist who is in increasing demand on both the operatic stage and concert platform. Nadine has performed as a soloist at Glyndebourne International Festival, Royal Opera Hoise English National Opera and will sing Tosca for Opera Australia in 2024. Nadine is also enowned as a recitalist, particularly associated with Verdi, African Heritage Composers, Strauss and contemporary American song. An Ambassador for Music Masters for many years, Nadine is the Founder of Everybody Can! A mentoring programme, concert series and development award for classical singers 35-65. Nadine is the winner of the Black British Theatre Awards for “best opera performer 2023 and winner of the Future Classic Women Award 2023. Nadine was a Sky Arts Awards Nominee – The Times Arts Award 2019 and was “highly commended” at the 2016 Aviva ‘Women of the Future Awards’ and invited to both Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing Street in recognition of her work as a mentor and singer. Nadine was made an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2021.
