We are privileged to work with Bibi Heal, Soprano and Jonathan Eyers for our upcoming concert on 18th March.
Bibi Heal
Normally found singing the world’s most beautiful music at venues such as The Royal Opera House, Konzerthaus Berlin, Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall, Barbican Hall, and St John’s Smith Square, Bibi will perform Ein Deutsches Requiem at St Mary’s in Godmanchester this March.
Bibi frequently performs with some of the worlds most prestigious organisations such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, Philharmonia Orchestra, and the BBC Concert Orchestra.
Bibi graduated from the University of East Anglia with a First Class degree in Music. After completing her postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music, she studied with Graeme Danby, Jonathan Papp and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. She currently studies with Sena Larard.
Jonathan Eyers
We’re delighted to share with you the first of our soloists for our next concert!
Jonathan Eyers – Baritone will be singing Brahms Requiem with The Hunts Phil at St Mary’s Church in Godmanchester this March.
We are all a buzz with excitement to work with a talent such as Jonathan. Not only has he starred as a soloist with the NZ Opera, Julliard 415, the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, Berlin Italian OPERA Company , Grimeborn Festival, and British Youth Opera, he has also sung in the London Symphony Orchestra ‘s production of Candide with Marin Alsop, in Iain Burnside’s Swansong, at Wigmore Hall in a public masterclass with Thomas Quasthoff, in Graham Johnson’s SongGuild Lieder series. He has even recorded for BBC Radio 3 in his performance of Detlev Glanert’s Gesang des Achill as part of the BBC’s total immersion weekend of the composer.
Jonathan is a founding member of Whānau London Voices – a network of UK based NZ Opera singers specialising in NZ/Māori/Pasifika music.
Originally from Hamilton, New Zealand, Jonathan holds a Master of Performance with Distinction from Guildhall, and a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours at the University of Waikato where he studied with Dame Malvina major and was a Sir Edund Hillary Scholar. He has recently completed his second year of the Opera Studies Course at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, studying with Robert Dean.
